The perfect game room, every man's dream. Any man lucky enough to have a wife that understands a man's need to accumulate more stuff than his buddies is worth her weight in gold. Having the best game room in the crew is bragging rights that every man dreams of having. There simply nothing better than being out and hearing, "Yeah, but you have to see Joe's place, the game room is sick over there!"

Air Hockey has become the sport of champions and no self-respecting man would delete this from the game room arsenal. The size of the room and normal game will dictate the type of table chosen for the room. It would be great to have a regulation casino style table, but if the space does not allow for that, think about getting a smaller round table. These can often be converted for other uses and are actually more practical and less expensive. Another staple is the dart board. This is a game that everyone knows and enjoys. English darts is the more traditional bar game, but American darts is quite fun as well. If you can hit a bull's-eye with a woodie, you can do just about anything! If you do choose to go with English darts, add a custom dart set that will allow you to take your game to the next level.

Pool tables and Shuffleboards are a nice addition, but the space required is pretty significant. For someone with a smaller space, it might be better to add multiple game boards instead. A ping pong table, foosball table, and a few pinball machines will really offer plenty of entertainment for everyone when the house fills up. This is a much better alternative than having everyone stand around waiting for the next game to open up. It is easy to create the perfect game room when you have the space. However, when space challenged, get creative and you will be surprised at the different games you can pack into your game room.

Instead of committing the entire room to only one game, look at the alternative and pack as much action as you can and before you know it, your place will be the hottest spot in town!
